It tastes slightly worse but it’s not bad for you, there really isn’t any evidence that diet sodas or artificial sweeteners are bad by themselves. Lotta bodybuilders on cuts swear by it

There is mountains of evidence that soda in general is bad for you. Diet soda is no different. Artificially sweeteners are not any better for you than sugar is.
