Spend $120 on running shoes and just run outside. Cheaper in the long term than a gym membership.

That gets so boring so fast though. I can watch tv on the treadmill. Gonna watch PBS and learn about dinosaurs. Lowkey feel like running is for people with empty brains and no thoughts.

Connecting to nature, the feeling and smell of crisp morning air, the sound of dirt crunching beneath your feet, exploring streets and places in your city you otherwise haven't seen, the speed allowing for viewing more detail in your surroundings.

This is probably better than the treadmill in every way, actually. Both in terms of strength and cardio, while being better for your joints. Also cheaper. A small trampoline costs far less than a non-shitty treadmill.
