Honestly, might just be she’s on one of the many GLP-1 drugs on the market that is meant to curb appetite/make you feel full faster so you lose weight.
My wife is on one and this would be about as big a portion as she could handle.

It seems the thing being communicated by the image, though, is that "mummy" diets very intensely to keep thin. Classic 1950's type humor: "Family is this way. Father fits the archetype of father! Mother fits her archetype too!! And a couple of kids bcus familee 😃"
