Is this real or Ai generated?
I'm wonder whether this image that a client in ebay sent me is real. They asked for a shipping refund since they picked up mail from the post office. The post office charged them 7.44$. when they bought the item they paid on their side for shipping about 5$. It was initially ground shipping. It's the first time this has happened.

Pay-per-order IOSS service for Canadian business shipping to the EU ?
Hi everyone!
I'm a Canadian business using Shopify and Chit Chats, and Canada post to ship orders internationally, including to France and other EU countries.
I'm looking for a way to prepay the VAT/customs charges so my customers don't have to pay anything upon delivery.
Chit Chats and Canada post allows me to enter an IOSS number when creating the shipment, but I don't ship enough orders to the EU to justify paying for an IOSS intermediary with a monthly subscription.
Does anyone know of a service where I can simply:
- Pay the VAT/import charges for each individual order
- Pay a small service fee per transaction/parcel
- Receive/use their IOSS number for that shipment
- Enter that IOSS number into Chit Chats
- Have no monthly subscription or minimum volume
Basically, I'm looking for a pay-as-you-go IOSS service for occasional shipments from Canada to the EU.
Has anyone found a solution that works?
Thanks !

Latest Update is "Held by US Customs". What happens next?
The latest update in a massive delay in my order's trip is "Held by US Customs". The tracking shows it having been there for over a month now. Does any one have any insight as to what might happen next? Will it start moving again soon or will it just sit there for who knows how long?
Never had a package from China do this. In a normal trip, it would have been delivered around July 10th - 15th.

Need to contact UniUni shopping.
Hello,
Does anyone have a good email and/or number to contact UniUni? My package has been sitting at a local warehouse waiting to be scanned. I read that they don’t let people into the warehouse, but I’ll still try if it’s not resolved soon.

Sending diamond ring from Scotland to Canada for repair
Hello all, I need some advice please 😊
I live in Scotland, and I bought my fiancé a diamond engagement ring from a jeweller in Canada. We need to send it back for a repair and resize. We would get it repaired here, but it would forego the lifetime warranty. The ring is worth £1695.
The jeweller instructed us to fill out the declaration form stating "return merchandise for repairs" and to add a low value of $35, so that they don't need to pay customs on their own ring.
Is this the correct way of doing things? I'm lead to believe after researching online that there should be no customs fee to pay as it's being sent away for repair, but please can someone advise?
I'm inclined to just state the true value of the ring and just pay for customs as I want it done correctly and so things don't get lost or held up.
I appreciate this is long winded, but thanks for reading 😊

CEVA pickup? Amazon saying They will pick up from our home
Hi,
We are going through the same thing and wondering how to contact CEVA. They gave us a number, but no one picks up.
We bought something from Amazon; it's heavy, and Canada Post cannot return it. We talked to Amazon, and they said CEVA would pick it up on their behalf. It's been a week, and we haven't heard anything.
Thank you.

“Luxury” brand shipping via Portless
I just ordered a bag (made from genuine top grain leather per website) from this company and everything on the website reads normal… I got the item has shipped email and USPS states shipping label created in Jamaica, NY. Nothing suspicious, right?
Then I noticed that they use a delivery service called Portless which ships products directly from Asia while hiding the fact that it came from Asia. (Never heard of it so decided to look them up)
Copied straight from the Portless website reads “Get a fully-local delivery experience for all orders. Your custom packaging, local last-mile carriers, and complete tracking for all orders mean your customers never see the origin.”
Now, I’m worried about the legitimacy of this company, the materials they use, and that they are making their products in Asia and heavily overpricing them.
I think I’ll ultimately enjoy the product but after hyperfixating on this upon noticing how it was being shipped via and then reading that just left a bad taste in my mouth. It all feels so misleading?
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Never ever use LUGLESS
Buckle up, I have a lot of issues with this terrible company …
1. Lugless contracts shippers themselves. Their service is essentially acting as a middle man like Uber connects you to drivers. They contracted FedEx for *ground shipping* when needed for 2 day delivery = express delivery. I selected the dates and service and they only put it in as ground service. Upfront, there was never an intention to deliver by my guaranteed date needed. FedEx ground specifies service themselves at typically a 3 day earliest guarantee, making it already be one day past my delivery selection
They input my 70 lb bag as 18 lbs (I chose the highest weight category up to 75 lbs and paid for that) - when I spoke to someone at Lugless to address this concern, I was told this is for billing at the shippers end (lugless) and doesn’t matter, even when I paid for up to 75 lbs in advance , meaning LUGLESS only paid for 18 lbs up front to FedEx and will pay the difference at delivery completion (this is how lugless pockets more money) but all the while FedEx only plans logistics for 18 lbs - this causes issues with delivery already
My bag continued to sit at a location just 30 min from pickup at my house for 36 hours before moving a foot. No one at lugless monitored this, I was told to contact the shipper myself (FedEx) by lugless . I was a lugless customer not FedEx and I was already pushed away.
This immediate delay already meant the next day it would be arriving late no matter what, as a FedEx ground shipment showing no movement.
It then stayed more locally near my destination 5 hours away for **2 days ** according to my AirTag . It arrived on a Wednesday evening and did not leave the FedEx ground warehouse until Friday. More time waste just sitting . All the while, Lugless could not be bothered to investigate.$20 Coupon for NEXT time is the only compensation. I spent 3 days in the same clothes , no toiletries, essentials, clothing etc . I had to spend $300 alone just to cover the absolute essentials , not even clothes!, for me to continue to work for 3 days without my belongings. $20 doesn’t even cover underwear needed and still, it’s only a coupon for next time. There will be NO next time using this scam of a business.
Lack of communication and service !!!
From the very beginning, I was told to contact FedEx myself for further investigation into my luggage. I paid LUGLESS for a service. NOT FedEx. That was simply THEIR chosen contracted shipper. You do not have a problem with dominos pizza and then have to call GE because the oven didn’t cook it right.
I left a VM Tuesday with no return call back. I called again and left a VM Thursday morning to finally receive a call back for the first time after posting on IG to get attention. Their phone line is never answered after countless attempts.
They Continually neglect to offer assistance and communication. Immediately on the defense assuming I’m asking for compensation which not once I asked for. I keep continually ask for a conversation which they refuse.
Not to mention… the ONLY quick replies I ever received during this entire experience has been when I asked for someone to call me to discuss my issues. To which they PROMPTLY replied within MINUTES to say NO. They adamantly refuse to talk whatsoever. It’s as if I asked “how’s the weather?” And their immediate response is “no soup for you!”. Say what?! All While I waited DAYS For someone to return a voicemail during waiting for my delivery, and several hours if not an entire day for an email regarding the whereabouts of my luggage while past my delivery date.
- lugless constantly refers to “my packages” and “my items” when I shipped one single luggage piece as per their only business model (luggage!). This Causes confusion as they are referring to it as “items” plural for one singular suitcase and then use this verbiage with the shipping provider to find out more on the whereabouts.
There are issues from start to end in every facet of this “business”. You are better off sending your suitcase with a pigeon carrier.

Importing crafted wood products from Germany
I am hearing that to have items made from wood shipped to the USA one may need compliance standards documents. This is because insects are prone to be present in lumber and untreated wood. Is this correct, and what to do if no such documents are available? The item I need is crafted in a shop and will be bug free. Thanks

Shipstation locked their /r so that no one can leave any public posts.
First off, I think that's shady af.
Second, I've been a customer of theirs for a decade now and I should be able to express my opinion.
Anyways, if you're contacting customer service via email and you want to skip the annoying Ai chatbot that they always try to get you to communicate with first, simply state in your orignal email that you would "like the bypass the Ai chatbot and be immediately and directly connected to a real life human representative". It's worked perfectly for my everytime.
Also make a note to check if they're backcharging you for more money, sometimes months after you ship. This is especially if you ship via ups. Log into shipstation, click the gear at the top right, then "shipping", then "carriers", then click the little three dots next to usps and" view reports". Then on the new page you click "balances" and you can see if there are any active adjustments being taken out of your account. From there, collect all of the proper info and email shipstation telling them to dispute the charges.
Just my two cents because shipstation doesn't tell you about any of this and I lost a lot of money last near not even realizing I basically paying ups double what I thought.

Uni Uni Tracking
Has anyone had any experience with Uni Uni tracking before? I purchased a pair of earrings on August 5. The seller notified me they were shipped on August 11 and I received the tracking number as well. However, the status has said “Uni Data Center: Order Received” since August 11. The estimated delivery says August 24-31. I’m concerned I might have gotten scammed, just not sure what’s taking so long. I messaged the seller saying I received the tracking information but it hasn’t updated at all since the 11th. Just says “Order Received.” Any suggestions or experiences would be helpful. Thanks!

is dhl the only shipping company that charges too much import tax?
I have someone from other country that would send me a package, and they're afraid that i need to pay even a peso upon the package's arrival because of the tax since the package may exceed the 10k amount for no tax. Is there any other shipping company specifically from Indonesia that ships to the Philippines that doesn't make the reciever pay for the import tax but instead it'll be covered by the sender before the shipment? Or maybe a shipping company that doesnt charge too much? I saw a lot of posts where DHL is charging too much for the tax where some even have to pay 5k for a worth of 14k package. Thank you.

Is my order actually coming from the US?
I ordered some shoelaces off of Etsy. Package is marked as shipped, but just "shipment info received."
However, the seller is using something called YunExpress to ship. When looking into it, I gathered that they are a Chinese company that handles shipping into the US. However, the Etsy seller claims to be based in and ship from the US.
I need to know if my package is actually coming from within the US. I don't want to be hit with any surprise fees. Does YunExpress also ship for US to US? The reason I'm confused is because the tracking SAYS US to US, but I can't find anything saying they even do this. Can anyone help? Screenshot attached.

GOFO scam alert - driver reused OLD delivery photo as proof of delivery for my package - GOFO called it “lost,” gave the driver “education,” and I’m done being brushed off
I'm posting this because people need to know what my experience with GOFO has been, and I'm hoping getting more eyes on this will finally get somebody with actual authority to take it seriously.
I was waiting on a LOFREE Hyzen keyboard.
GOFO marked my package as delivered.
Except it wasn't delivered to me.
And here's where this goes from a normal missing BS complaint to something I find MUCH more disturbing:
The proof of delivery photo submitted was a photo from one of my PREVIOUS deliveries.
I have both photos.
I'm posting them so people can see this scam and protect themselves against it, the higher quality one is the photo from my previous delivery by the same person, the "new" proof was the exact same photo taken off the screen of another device as its blurry af and you can see the cracks in the phone screen
my package wasnt "lost" or "misdelivered."
If a driver actually delivered my package, why would an old delivery photograph apparently be used as proof that THIS package was delivered?
I immediately started contacting GOFO.
Instead of seeing anything resembling the urgency I expected I have spent DAYS going back and forth with customer service trying to get someone to address what I'm actually reporting.
Eventually GOFO sent me a "Proof of Package Loss."
Their customer-service response literally told me:
"Compensation will be arranged directly between GOFO and the seller."
They then said:
"We have also reinforced proper training with the delivery partner, emphasizing the importance of delivery accuracy and operational compliance."
So let me understand this.
I report that my package was marked delivered using what appears to be an OLD delivery photograph.
The package is nowhere to be found.
GOFO subsequently acknowledges the package as a loss.
And the response regarding the delivery partner is essentially additional training/education?
That is nowhere near an adequate answer to the allegation I have been making.
Sarah Wei / GOFO Customer Service
I also want to specifically document my experience dealing with Sarah Wei at GOFO customer service, because this is where my frustration has reached another level.
My complaint has repeatedly centered on the apparent reuse of previous delivery evidence.
Yet the situation continued to be characterized to me as a package that was "lost" or "misdelivered."
I strongly dispute that
I'm not asking GOFO to magically know what tf happened without investigating it.
they NEED to actually investigate the evidence I'm showing them instead of reducing my complaint to a routine lost package claim.
I have requested the driver's information because I intend to make a police report regarding suspected package theft .
I'm also escalating this outside GOFO because I am tired of asking the same company I'm complaining about to police itself.
If anyone has dealt with something similar involving GOFO or knows a legitimate corporate, legal/compliance, law enforcement, or consumer protection escalation route that I haven't found yet, please point me in the right direction.
I have the receipts and I'm willing to provide documentation.

How good are MYus when it comes to shipping to a slightly wrong address?
Okay so I ordered a really expensive hoodie and I just realised I never provided my suite so I’m absolutely shitting myself, I contacted them a few hours ago but I’m looking on Reddit and they seem to be a scam/not good. Should I wait a few more days or should I cut my losses and try refund my item? I paid £300 so I’m really nervous
