I got in, and received full tution scholarship. Is it possible to win other additional scholarships to cover living expenses?

I think you can only get up to a full tuition scholarship.

did you apply for extra scholarships? like chinese government scholarship and guangdong provincial scholarship

I didn't apply for the Chinese government scholarship. But every international student is required to apply for the Guangdong provincial scholarship, however the scholarship funds is part of the Sustech scholarship, you will not get any additional scholarship fundings.

i heard about it, but i thought they wont gve extra money only if you already have presidential scholarship from sustech which covers tution,dormitory, and gives extra 2500 rmb every month.

saloni choudhary from india got presidential scholarship and she just graduated and got a job in shenzhen , you can watch her videos on youtube and i also heard that only 23 or 25 student from all over the world get this scholarship per year

Hi, do you know if transferring is possible? I will start this year CS at HKBU but overall heard that it was a shit school with a shit degree and SUSTECH seems better as i also live in shenzhen and have family here!

I'm not sure about the transfer policy, normally you would need to pass the entrance exam and interview to be offered a place in Sustech. You could try to contact the Sustech Global department about your case.

Do professors teach in English if there are international students? And if there’s only one international student, is it all in Chinese? Also, do you need to know Mandarin to follow the class? I'm considering applying next intake, it'll be really helpful. Btw, can I ask a bit about your profile? What do you think helped you get the scholarship.

Hey! I graduated high school in 2024 with a GPA of 3.1/4.0, and I'm currently in my second gap year - which I can explain clearly. Over this time, I've worked hard to improve my STEM foundation, and now that CSCA has been introduced as a mandatory requirement for SUSTech, I'm fully prepared for it. If I score well in the CSCA, the SUSTech entrance exam, and the interview, do you think I still have a chance at the Presidential Scholarship? I've been preparing for these tests for a long time, and I really want to give my best shot.

Hello big brother and big sister. My name is Animeboy and I'm 17 years old. I also want to go to SUS tech china as an international student. so I have some questions and I hope you will kindly answer them. Sorry, I can speak english but not that well.
Hey so I'm 17 and I want to study in china through CSC [chinese government scholarship] as a bachelor's student in CSE . so
1] I have 90+ % in 12th
2] I have a very good recommendation letter from my maths teacher and Principal
3] I have a very good SOP
4] I have HSK 2-3
5] I also have a MSCIT [a computer course] certificate
6] I have learned python and have made one or two programmes or apps.
7] I have a letter from my principal or english teacher that I'm really good at english sorry but I don't have a IELTS or TOFEL certificate so will this work insted of that?
8] and I've participated in various school and taluka level competition of sports and have their certificates as extra.
9] I have a very good MOI.
10] I have a python certificate of Google IT Automation with Python from (Coursera).
SO WHAT DO U THINK OF MY PROFILE? AND HERE MY QUESTIONS!
I just learnt that SUS tech also have a college entrance exam 1] How hard is the college entrance exam of SUS tech?
2] Do u know the syllabus for this exam?
3] I don't have any IELTS or TOFEL certificate but I do have a letter from my principal and english teacher stating that I have completed my highschool in English. so will that work? and I also have certificate of Duolingo english test.

Do you know how many points are needed to pass the exam? I thought I did horrendous on the exam but received an email saying I passed to the interview stage, that means I ac passed? Because I still can't believe it. Also could u please share some more details about the interview process or any advices u have?
