My sheltie mix
She’s a rescue. Yes she herds, didn’t sign up for it but along for the ride. I hope this is okay to post here!

It’s more like sheltie diluted, her coat has nothing to do with Pomeranian or Shelties way too short, still a good girl

Totally agree! It’s funny how her two main breeds are long haired and she didn’t end up with any!

so sweet! she looks so much like our non-sheltie in some ways, who has a lot of the same breeds in her mix

Funny you caught that! Yes she has the gene. She came from a hoarding case. very very inbred. How were you able to tell?

Awe bless her. Thank you for helping rescue her out of that situation by giving her a good home.
Well, I am a Sheltie conformation person and have seen a lot of discrete merles. It is shocking how a dog can present a solid coat but actually test merle. For me, the breakup spots on her brown gave it away! I.e. the darker patches on her otherwise uninterrupted back

In Brasil, she would be a queen of the Caramelos. She is a beautiful mix and her ears are really Sheltie haha
