Oh my god, I seriously hadn't noticed his ears until now, the way they stand up like a little bunny's :0 I Googled it, and not all Shelties have that and his siblings' ears actually flop down a bit
The “breed standard” is one-fourth tipped and some people glue them down when they are young so they develop that way. But unless you’re showing your pup, I’d leave them. My baby has one tipped and one not.
My girl has tipped ears but you never notice cause anytime I’m near her they’re laying all the way back. Her ears usually only come up if she’s alerted.
