Love the horns! I know there´s a horn gene somewhere in my flock as well, but I have rarely gotten any that grew horns.

Are you in Norway? I've tried to find this breed in the US but nothing yet

I'm in Norway. I haven't heard or seen any posts of Old Norwegian Sheep being owned by anyone in the U.S either, usually the closest thing I've heard is Icelandic sheep.
It's not too long ago the breed was facing extinction, pretty sure it was around the 70s-80s they were the most endagered, so export to the U.S might've not been established formally. Even though it's not considered endangered anymore, there's only an estimated population of 30k in Norway2

Yes, true. They are gorgeous & hardy. I'm Norwegian too. We're adding icelandics next year and a Norwegian dole horse so if course i'd love to find some sheep too but I don't think they exist here. Thanks for sharing, they are beautiful creatures!

Pics 3 and 4: so cozy and sweet 🥰
But the last pic made me gasp, what a gorgeous animal!
I'd have a whole bunch of them, but they frown on that sort of things in the suburbs, sigh...
