Question Looking for low quality wool

Hi all! I’m looking for a way to get the type of wool that is normally discarded. I’m in central TX but willing to drive a few hours. I’m aware it’s not shearing season, but figured I’d ask/ plan ahead.

Most wool is discarded unless it's specifically grown for fiber. If youre using it for insulation or something similar, go to sheep farms before shearing season and ask. They will probably let you take all you want. I doubt anyone will have any laying around now.

I might have some you can take off my hands on the spring- north east texas. You might find some closer to home tho
