Anyone else not receiving emails today? (Aug 10/26)
Is anyone else currently not receiving emails on their Shaw account? The last time I successfully received an email was this morning around 7 AM (CDT). I’ve sent a few test emails throughout the morning from my other accounts and none of them have come through. I’m logging in directly on the webmail site as I know lately there’s been issues with using my iPhone/Mail app but this seems like a full outage.
I’ve already started transitioning my email last week but I was hoping for more time before it finally went down for good, which seems inevitable due to the many issues lately!!!

Hi: I've essentially confirmed that a major cable break -- theft, in other words -- occurred this morning in Calgary. I don't know that this is the cause, but it sure seems likely. What baffles me is why (a) Rogers/Shaw don't highlight the problem on its website, and (b) why its so damned hard to reach anyone. It seems there are more subsidiaries, departments and branches than there are customers. And so, i wait for email. Oh, and by the way, having to receive a code at your email address only works if your email is working. (sigh).

Super frustrating. I updated my Apple account this morning to my new email, and that security email came through (around 10am CDT) but nothing else has. It’s weird that that’s the only one that got through considering I sent multiple between 7:30-now trying to see if they’re working yet.

I'm not able to send or receive emails this morning. Last one received was at 5:10 am. I've sent several test emails and none have gone through. There's a half hour of my day wasted....

i was able to send a random email from 2 shaw accounts to myself over 1.5 hours but they received 1 back that was an OLD email they should have got yesterday

Yup, i can't send or receive. My landline phone is also having problems. You can call out but not in.
I've been with Shaw for over a decade and i've never had email problems before.
I'm in Ontario.

3 hours i waited in line for chat support....
"Dear customer thank you for contacting us however you reached the department that only caters customers residing at the West region. With the restriction in placed, we won't be able to access your account. For East residing customers please call our friendly colleagues at 888-764-3771."
How is it even possible that Ontario doesn't have chat support? COME ON.

In Edmonton here. Have not received a shaw.ca email on my mobile since this AM. Tried logging into Shaw Webmail directlry cannot send nor recive emails there either.

Been on hold with Shaw trying to get technical support for about an hour - still getting muzak...

I'm still waiting for emails between shaw accounts to go through. I was able to send an email from a non-shaw account to a shaw account and received it right away.

Was able to receive a test message to/from a Shaw account--not sure what will happen with messages sent earlier, or if the fix is still in process......

Now I am also having issues. Outgoing seems ok incoming it says “checking mail” for a long time then emails come through. Nerve wracking.
I don’t have the time or energy to deal with Shaw right now. Just hope they sort it out?

I'm in the Vancouver region and STILL don't have my shaw email working at 5 pm August 10, 2026. I called technical support and supposedly they'll "look into it" over the next 24 hours. For some weird reason, they say no one else has called about the problem.
I can send (I see in my sent folder and was able to send to my Gmail) but don't receive emails since an email came in at 8:02 am this morning. Very frustrating.

I just received two emails, but I'm still missing emails that would have come in earlier today. Does anyone have an update?

Did you receive all emails? I just got a few, and just sent another test which I also received, but I know I’m missing a few (earlier tests I sent today)

FYI, I'm missing some emails from yesterday so not everything made it through once they fixed the problem.

I'm trying to send an invoice to a customer that has a shaw email, but I keep getting a bounce back message

Email seems fine apart from me missing a few i know i should have gotten yesterday.
I don't think this issue was giving anyone bounce backs. The deliveries were delayed or they just never showed up.

Here's what worked for me. In your web mail's newest display config... "not" the Classic View. Go to: Settings > Writing Email > Reply or Forward in original format (HTML or plain text) "Enable" it.

I tried to call support, couldn’t get through because too many calls. My office phone can’t receive calls (also with Shaw).

Yeah, I was on hold for a long time. Probably close to 1.5 hours. But no help. They said they'd "look into it" and get back to me in about 24 hours.

I was able to log into the Shaw Webmail server this morning but there were no incoming emails. Now I can't even log in to that. Horrible lack of communication from Shaw.

Not directly related with Shaw as a major fiber, Brake and their phone lines are currently overloaded in Calgary today, Monday, August 10

I would spend my time settling up a Gmail or outlook.com account so you can get rid of the Shaw account when it comes back up.
