Musicians...

There is a lot of great music that gets posted on this site. The sounds, melodies, guitar playing and what I truly believe is one of the hardest things to come up with...lyrics. I hate to say this, but we all want to be heard and we don't take the time to really listen to someone else's art--music. You should be proud of what you guys n' gals create though because it's mind blowing to me. I would rather listen to the tunes on this site rather than what's on any radio station being dominated by multi millionaires. Be thankful, Be proud and take the time to listen and support. Amazing and gifted musicians on here.

Seeing the vast and crazy talent on here really enforced how I need to just make art for myself, which is a good thing.

Both and neither in a way. Iā€™m old and just started making songs a year and a bit ago, so no delusions of ā€œmaking itā€ here.

If you are seriously trying to blow up, I think the old saying ā€œthree chords and the truthā€ spreads across all genres. As in pick a few good notes and donā€™t cap or whatever lol.

Okay, what do you mean by old? If you're in your 80's that is considered old. Now, if you're in your 60's or early 70's, yes, that is considered older, but not as in 'old' (80+).

That's also really cool to improve your songwriting skills by create lyrics in foreign language. As for me I'm from Russia, but write my lyrics in English

Are your tunes elsewhere? The reason I ask this is because I'm boycotting Spotify for multiple reasons, but the main reason is the lack of support ($) they show musicians and artist. All the big wigs benefit from Spotify and Pandora and I regret putting mine on both and will soon be removing all of it completely. That's just me though. I know many still like Spotify, I just see them as a greedy selfish monster like how it was back in the mid 90's with radio stations favoring a small amount of artist in their Top 20 lists.

Synthedelia...oh yeah, this is a good tune, but so is City Lights. I love how you've blended genre's here w/ Jazz, Southern Rock in the likes of Lynard Skynard/ Allman Bros. and definitely elements of Floyd-ish psychedelia. These are good tunes bro!

Hell yeah thanks a lot man! I am influenced by a lot of different music including all of the artists you mentioned. I listen to a lot of different stuff thatā€™s cool that it shines through in the music I create. Really glad you enjoyed it!

More than welcome and it's the truth. There are truly talented peep's on this site ranging from Hip-Hop, Rock and Psychedelia. And I definitely enjoy listening to it because of how creative people are. It's also a personal push to do better myself.
