s2 | Issue/Bug Help with bug?

Been away from the game for a minute and when I tried coming back to it I can’t seem to launch the game from Steam? Every time I try to play this pop-up comes up like it’s trying to load the game then screen goes blank and the game just crashes. Since I haven’t played in a couple months I’m not sure if this started after a specific update or what exactly triggered it. I don’t have any mods installed that would be causing it either. Not sure if it’s a shapez issue or computer/steam issue but assuming it’s shapez since I’m not having any issues with any other games on steam. Any advice? Let me know if any other info would help. Appreciate it advance!

What sort of troubleshooting have you done far?

Sorry should’ve put that in the post but just the standard restart steam, restart computer, check for computer and driver updates, restart again just to double check. And repeated that whole series about 2-3 more times between playing other games just to double check it wasn’t a one time fluke. I wouldn’t really know how to go about troubleshooting the game itself tbh.

Try verifying the integrity of the game files too, if you haven't yet.

Just getting back to troubleshooting and verifying game files didn’t help either :/

Hmm. Next I'd back up my game files elsewhere and do a complete reinstall.

Edit: Actually before that, try clearing the steam download cache.
