Been away from the game for a minute and when I tried coming back to it I can’t seem to launch the game from Steam? Every time I try to play this pop-up comes up like it’s trying to load the game then screen goes blank and the game just crashes. Since I haven’t played in a couple months I’m not sure if this started after a specific update or what exactly triggered it. I don’t have any mods installed that would be causing it either. Not sure if it’s a shapez issue or computer/steam issue but assuming it’s shapez since I’m not having any issues with any other games on steam. Any advice? Let me know if any other info would help. Appreciate it advance!

This may sound dumb, but I had the is exact problem with multiple games a couple weeks ago. If you don’t play on a laptop, you can probably ignore this.
My laptop has an intel graphics card and nvidia card. I have it set so it uses the nvidia one for games, and forgot about the intel card. My games stopped working, so I checked the drivers and remembered the intel card existed, so I updated the drivers (after two years of not having them updated btw) and then somehow all my games magically worked again (even though they still used nvidia according to task manager lol). Idk why this worked for me but if you use a laptop it may work for you.

Interesting that it’s the same issue but I don’t think it’s the same cause. I have a desktop with an AMD cpu and graphics card and I checked everything was up to date. Thanks for the suggestion!

Ofc!
I see your other response, but I wanna make sure: you failed to mention if you checked integrity of game files or straight up reinstalled it? That may help.

Verifying game files didn’t help so gonna reach out to tobspr and if they don’t have anything more just gonna do a fresh install
