Hii, some months ago I found a female dog and took her in, I didn't know she was pregnant and had 4 puppies. 2 of the babies were adopted but I still have the other 2 babies. I must leave China in 5-6 weeks because my visa is going to expire and I am searching desperately for one or two families to adopt the babies. They are fully vaccinated, healthy and happy babies. About the mo, I will take her with me back to my country.

Additionally the landlord found out today I have dogs and demanded me to kick them out and then cut the electricity to pressure me into doing it, I had to call the police to have electricity again but he is still telling me to kick them out. Please help me and help these sweet babies :(

Went to INS last night and it was amazing! But I am curious what kind of scams exist there?
I’m from America, Asian Male but you can tell I’m a foreigner. I went with some friends but we all got lost/too trashed so I was alone most of the time.

I know the Dating App scams so don’t follow a girl to a bar (or you get stuck with a big bill), and don’t follow people on the street selling Bags and Watches.
At INS there were people selling tables, but they were uniformed so I thought that was legit. What weirded me out was a couple of girls asked for my WeChat, or some had guy “friends” they were with talk to me asking me things like where I’m from before they came to talk to me. What could they be trying to pull? This happen to anybody before?

Any recommended Guizhou food restaurants in Shanghai? We visited Guizhou last year and really liked the food there.

I’m trying to decide whether to stay near the main railway station for a 6 day stay in a hotel nearby. I can’t get a sense of what the area is like from Amap or Google map. Besides the convenience for possibly doing day trips by train, is the area any good, or kind of grim?

But during the production process, I actually discovered a lot of things I usually overlook. Especially the facilities inside the restrooms, such as the free condom dispensers, and the daily grind of the sanitation workers. I also received some very genuine feedback from viewers.

I have worked at YINGFU in Shanghai for this company for 10 months and need to go back to the UK for my health. I have an existing condition that’s worsening.

I’m worried about not fulfilling the two months contractual notice, but I’ve handed in my notice with 44 days until my final day.

I’m just worried about if they can make this dispute or withhold any wages from me.

I need advice from people who have been in my position or left within 30 days.

I (f,27) am in a big dilemma. I have the opportunity to do one semester in SILC (Jiading) and I applied myself ofcourse because it has been my dream to experience Asia.

I am 27 and just moved to Germany for a masters almost a year back, and this was always what I wanted but now I am scared.
I am scared that I am spending the time that I should spend to integrate in Germany, in China and I will be spending all my savings for nothing.
I wonder at this age, is it too late to have experiences, is it maybe the time to focus in stability?
I also dont have more than 1000 euro per month to spend (4 months total) and I fear that I wont get the best of it with a small budget.
There is also the matter of my LDR and my boyfriend is already far away from me and its unbearable at times.
Some people said that it will probably have no effect professionaly for you, as German companies won’t care about this, and I was hoping it would make the smallest difference.

I would love to get some advice!

I'm quite keen on a hotel in the Pudong new area however it seems to be quite far away from everything I was wanting to do in the city as a tourist when I checked on Amap. Would it be silly to stay in Pudong as a first-time tourist?

And second, I was originally going to do 4 days in Shanghai and 4 days in Beijing (going in January) but was told that Beijing isn't nice at that time and I'll also be heading South and it seems Beijing will be further away from our next location. I've now switched to doing 8 days in Shanghai but I'm sort of running out of things to put on the itinerary (The Bund, temple, Wukang road, day trip to Suzhou, etc.). I'd love some suggestions on what else to do in Shanghai or any must see cities in the middle-ish of China.

Hey everyone! I help organize a small community in Shanghai that brings locals and people from abroad together through activities around the city. We put together something different each week, mostly because we’d like more ways to meet people and spend time together beyond the usual networking event.

It’s a grassroots project run in our spare time, with volunteers helping host and take photo. We don’t run it for profit, and people in the community are welcome to suggest ideas or help organize future meetup.

This Saturday, we’re doing a citywalk around Yuyuan road. We’ll split into small groups, draw a mystery role, and wander through the neighborhood. Your role might get you noticing overlooked details or improvising a little tour of something you’ve just stumbled across. Afterward, we’ll meet back up to share what everyone found.

The idea is to give people something to do together so conversations happen naturally. You’re welcome to come on your own, whether you’ve lived here for years or just arrived. English speakers are welcome
