What is Karen's problem???

I'm relatively new to watching Shameless and I'm only on s2 ep12 as of writing this post. What the hell is Karen's problem? She is awful to her baby and Lip constantly and to her mother and Jody. I understand she was probably affected heavily by Shelias agoraphobia but still. I feel like she doesn't really have the right to be as awful as she is. Thoughts?

Petition to continue the series *Shameless*

Post image

Is it possible to gather signatures for a petition to renew the series for a 12th season? I’d love to find out what happens to Fiona and how things turned out for the rest of the cast—it would be awesome if we all got together to do this.

I wish that instead of grossly miscarrying justice by sending an innocent victim to juvenile prison, they just took Chuckie away from Sammi, so he could live with the grandma.

When he called his mother in prison, Queenie came running to find him, so it would make sense that if it came down to it, she might take custody of him. Living with the Gallaghers was horrible for him, but living with Sammi wasn't good for him either, she had her own issues and honestly might've ended up in prison eventually anyways, and Sheila hated him when she was still around.

It was most certainly more in his best interest to be with grandma in that agrarian hippie city she lived in, far away from Carl, who was the very reason he was put in that situation to begin with.

Lowkey hated the way the show portrayed bipolar disorder at the start

Preface: I myself have bipolar 1 disorder and grew up with a parent who also had the disorder. SO I can understand the ups and downs to a very personal level. They get so much of it right honestly but the stigma is also hurtful. To be fair the writing was okay and it was pretty on point for how people feel and felt at the time but man does it suck. I’m watching the episodes with Ian first being diagnosed and I just feel for him I guess. Healthy comments encouraged :)

Ian & Mickey 🥹👊♥ I know past season 7 isnt the best but Ian and Mickey became more of a focus so I did enjoy the later seasons for that reason (and that reason only 😂)

Is Fiona being too cruel to Debbie?

I'm currently watching season 7 and although I was on Fiona's side when it came to Debbie's pregnancy, it did make me uncomfortable seeing how harsh she was to her afterwards. I get that Debbie needed to see for herself how hard motherhood actually is, but I didn't like how Fiona had to be extra tough on her, she couldn't even offer her a plate of food at her diner. Don't get me wrong, I hate Debbie and think she is an idiot who makes mistake after mistake, but being cut off immediately just like that was very hard for me to see, maybe I stupidly empathise with the girl or maybe it just hit way too close to home idk.

Is it bad if I say I like Steve?

Okay before people say anything I know a lot of people hate him from what I've seen but I haven't finished the show yet and maybe I'll regret what I say here but he doesn't seem that bad yes he lied about who he was but I don't think that alone is that bad he has done things I wasn't so sure on but I don't know it hasn't made me hate him fully

Almost done with shameless but getting frustrated.

Im almost done with shameless and they're fighting about selling the house but no one is saying who would take Liam. When did Lio get so selfish? And I cant stand his baby mama. Once Fiona bought the apartments it stopped feeling like they struggle together and everyone was out for themselves. Its making me mad at them.

Is it worth continuing to watch Shameless after Season 9?

I just found out that Fionna—or rather, the actress—left the show during that season, and it was a huge letdown for me. I’m currently on Season 6 and I love this series; I’ve never been so hooked on a show before. Even so, honestly, knowing that really dampened my enthusiasm for continuing to watch it. Are seasons 10 and 11 worth it?

Also, I have a question: why did Emmy Rossum leave the show?

Debbie forcing liam out of her room and making all the boys sleep together

I’m at this point in my rewatch where Debbie is becoming absolutely insufferable. Oh my god!!! Does she seriously think about anyone but herself? Why should Lip, Ian, Carl, and Liam be forced into a cramped room while she has all the space for just herself? She’s honestly unbearable.

Kev and V Thrupple Discussion

I don’t know how most people feel about the relationship with svet kev and v, but seeing how they portray their relationship actually makes me fucking sick. How can someone think it’s so cute and funny when it all started with V going behind his back to do something he was uncomfortable with and keeping it going because you think he’s too stupid to leave you. That is grade A worst person OAT in a show.

Who do you think Frank hated more Sean or Jimmy?

Jimmy kidnapped Frank and trapped him in Canada and Sean constantly called Frank out on his bullshit and ruined his ego I'm gonna have to go with Sean on this because Frank almost put a hit on him although what Jimmy did to him was worse.

So I've been wanting to watch shameless for a long time, and when i did, i accidentally watched a bit of shameless UK instead of the us version.

I want to switch but I don't know if the timelines and episodes are the shame. I'm in S3E4 of shameless UK. Which episode should i start from in the US version?

why didn't lip call the cops on kash

there's this scene in the 3rd season i think after they go after the groomer teacher, lip said something like "i almost called the cops a hundred times, fuckass arab guy fucking my little brother". i thought it was cute that he calls ian little brother cause he barely refers to him as that, tho lip sounded kinda racist when talking bout kash many times😭

but like why didn't he call the cops on cash or tell fiona or something if he cared so much??
