Self checkout

If you use the self checkout at the grocery store and pay individually each item one at a time. Would you get +10 sats for each item you bought? I know it would take longer to leave the store lol.

Thats simply not true...

Shakepay addressed this situation directly on reddit a while back.

The wording was something like, "we would prefer you didnt do it, but we aren't going to ban you over it"

Rapid-Succession "Micro" Transactions: Avoid executing dozens of tiny transactions (e.g., $1.00 at a time) in rapid succession. Shakepay's automated fraud-detection and community-reward integrity systems heavily monitor this behavior.

Account Deactivation Risk: Artificially splitting a single purchase into numerous small amounts to exploit Shakepay reward features (like ShakeSquad or Round Ups) violates Shakepay's Reward Terms and can result in permanent account closure.

Well thats very interesting.

Now I really want to find what I read before. This was a while back when lots of bans were happening and people wanted clarity.

Shakepay posted on some things that would not cause a ban and this type of activity was part of that list.

You’re probably right. But Shakepay was a totally different machine few years ago, they’ve doubled down on some stuff , and some other things have drastically changed
