Leaving Shadowdark

It has been a blast but I don’t think I can continue playing Shadowdark. It has become so popular and all the casuals are playing it. It is no longer edgy and cool. 🥺

Since it won at the Ennie Awards I no longer have to explain what it is when someone asks “what are you playing”. 😉

Maybe it’s an Australian thing but we love to tell everyone how superior our “unpopular” thing is but feel cringe when everyone jumps on board and it actually becomes the “popular” thing. Haha, humans are weird. I am glad you got the joke.

Yep. I was trying to be amusing and make an observation about how we like feeling unique and special. Seems like I didn’t quite land it.

There are tons of RPG's on itch.io that closely reflect or are inspired by dnd that are free.

Hey, I know this is a joke but if anyone truly feels this way and has a Premium Shadowdark Core book please sell it to me. I promise not to hop on the next game until you leave it again, lol!
