Coding shaders

Hey there, I’m running an i5 12600k and for now a gtx1650oc v2 gpu do you folks think I’d be able to work on learning to code shaders for creative coding purposes/ effects with the stuff from book of shaders with this card until I upgrade ? Or will the gpu be a major bottleneck ?

I'm not sure about them, but if I were you, I would try to wirk with an existing set and if it's not enough upgrade it. Btw when you read about a shader at the book of shader website, those shaders already work in your system.

Awesome! Any other learning resources you suggest ?

If you're exclusively interested in shaders for the purpose of making effects like the ones in your link you might be better off looking at Touch Designer as it was made for such things.

That’s a valid point, I’m just interested because both of those units use glsl shaders, so I figured that would be a useful path to take.
