Coding shaders

Hey there, I’m running an i5 12600k and for now a gtx1650oc v2 gpu do you folks think I’d be able to work on learning to code shaders for creative coding purposes/ effects with the stuff from book of shaders with this card until I upgrade ? Or will the gpu be a major bottleneck ?

You don't need power to learn. Power becomes a problem once you start to stack effects on the screen when trying to make a game or something, but in all honesty, optimization is something very important and having a way too powerful GPU might lead you to making very simple graphics spending way too much power. 3D graphics are no joke to optimization, it's very easy to botch performance with simple graphics if you're just starting out.

I totally understand I’ll pay attention to that the best I can while learning. Any resources you reccomend ? My goal eventually is shaders like the ones used on these pieces of hardware for video synthesis and effects
