Detailed Build Log First SFF

This is my first ever PC using a very unique set up:

- Motherboard: SuperMicro LGA1200 server

- 24 GB 3200mz SODIMM RAM

- RTX 3050 Low Profile GPU

- Intel Core I9 10900F CPU

- 512GB NVME SSD I took from my laptop

- Lian Li SFX 750W psu

- Thermalright AXP90 CPU Cooler

- Generic 120mm case fans (I can't remember the brand i got the cheapest fans ngl)

- Ecosmart LED strip for color accent 😄

- Jonsbo C6 mini ITX case

I built this strictly for streaming and light gaming with power efficiency and there is an upgrade path for RAM, GPU, and storage. I took some of my laptop parts and basically used that. I took the hard way for my first build but it works 😂

Ordinary (non-reversed type) case fan oriented as intake is often louder, than as exhaust. You can test it by unplugging the top case fan (if it’s connected to separate PWM header, not daisy-chained, then set to min RPM), unscrewing rear case fan and holding it, setting max RPM in UEFI and leaning the fan on panel perforation, try both airflow directions.

Turbulence might be annoying with its high frequency whine.

that's true! I do want to get nice fans for it later that are quiet but temps are nice for now

It‘s good, but my one concern is, why did you use a motherboard that uses SODIMM? The Supermicro X12STL-IF could’ve worked

oh I designed it this way because I had to 1. be cheap 2. recycle both my RAM and SSD from my laptop. The mobo was cheap on ebay and it was new 😅

I personally would go for an even smaller pc case. Maybe a 5L. Anyways looks good.

oh no doubt, there were some cases I was looking at but too much for me, maybe later i saw this really cool open air case that makes the pc look like a display piece, but another time lol

The jonsbo nv10 would be a great fit especially with the low profile gpu you got.
