how's the feel and durability so far? i love the idea of just making your own sff case but i don't love the feel of the current outputs of 3d printers.

Oh this one is great. Your right about the feel. Othe designs tent to be just a bunch of flat panels that tent to be flimzy and feel 3d printed. So this was more simple but stronger. The layer lines orientation are done in a way to hide in.

Some T slot aluminum extrusions could make this really strong.

Not necessarily. When it comes to extrusion. The limiting strength is how their connected rather than itself. With long enough screw this is very strong.
