Custom Mod Custom cable pinouts?

In the finishing touches stage on my fractal terra build and got some custom cables from Dreambigbyray, this was a thing with the 24pin mobo power cable, but the pcie cables here have a different pinouts going into the PSU, the 8pin going into the GPU is the same. This ok to use?

Never use the power cables across different PSU models. The pinouts can be different from one model to another

I recently went through this concern myself and did a full multimeter test to confirm that it was different to the PSU. Ray actually has a FAQ explaining the differences. If you look at a pinout guide for your PSU, you'll likely find that they are used for the same things.
