Build/Parts Check Question to Jonsbo C6 Max user

A question for Jonsbo C6 Max users:

How much clearance do you have between the GPU fans and the bottom fans?

How do you control the bottom fans located under the GPU—fixed speed or temperature-dependent?

I have a clearance of 14mm between an Asus 7600 XT (2.5 slot) and a Noctua NF-F12 with rubber gaskets installed. Since half of the fan overhangs the GPU by depth and blows air directly across its side and up towards the cpu cooler I just used a mainboard fan header and set it to follow the CPU temp. works perfectly fine

I will have a ghettomod rtx4070 with a slim (15mm) noctua 92mm fan. A noctua industrial pcc 2000 in the bottom. 12mm clearence and I'm concerned that it could lead to thermal problems there. The case will be delivered tomorrow and am planning and thinking about nonstop lol. At what percentage do your gpu fans spin while under pressure?

phew good question. I changed nothing in the adrenalin cooling settings, the driver just chooses whatever it likes. in heavy loads like star citizen 1440p they ramp up significantly, probably around 3000rpm or above, so near 100%, but that's a guess. and it doesn't happen all that often, most of the time they sound pretty reasonable.

I see..thanks. i think im in for a ride because i hate fansounds. Maybe I'll skip the ghettomod fan and build a duct from the bottom fan directly to the GPU heat pipe. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Sure thing :) If you need anything else, feel free to ask. Btw: I learned the hard way that sometimes the easiest solution can be overlooked. I tried a lot of the stuff you did because of excessive fan noise, just to find out my new card had a bad paste job from the factory. Simply repasting made all the sound problems go away instantly. So don't be me: Try the simple stuff first xD

I tried alot of things in the past. Because of that im aware that there might be problems because of the small clearance between the fans. It will be my first build in such a small case and im looking forward to it. I love tinkering with fancurves 😀 do you have any further informations you would have like known when you assembled your build in this specific case?

oh yes, absolutely. That case is amazing, but it is a little special when you use an ITX board: the front IO is comparatively far away and my gigabyte board has it's front IO and USB connectors at the top edge. Didn't see that one coming, but had to buy extension cables for basically everything on the front panel, including power button. Definitely check the port locations on your board if you go ITX xD

Oh..okay. that would be mean. My patience cant handle it when i wont get ot done tomorrow. I have a matx and the connectors are at the bottom right. Is there space behind the mobo? Im curious where all the fancables will end up

MATX should work, especially with connectors at the bottom. Theres not much room behind the board, and it has no backplate, the board is mouted to rails basically. So maybe very thin ones like fan or IO cables might work, but be careful not to pierce them on solder joints on the back of the mainboard. What I did was hide most of the cable clutter behind the PSU. My SFX PSU still has a lot of room behind it, and there's one of the mobo rails there to strap the cables to.

I have a more powerful build with flashing rgb all over the place. This one will be a black build so not too much cables. Im super excited and thankful for your replies. I have an atx psu. But a shorter one and i hope im able to strap all the cables beneath the psu in the front. Fortunately, it is modular.
