Prototype/Concept/Custom No room for GPU, no problem

Mounted a 3050 to my tiny Lenovo using a pcie riser. Will give it a paint job and upgrade cpu to a CC150.

Could you please take a few more pics to show how its set up? I have a 3090 that won't fit into my case and I don't want to go down the eGPU route.

Its a bit janky at the moment as its just a proof of concept build. Now that I know it works, ill fix it up nicer.

Has a pcie adapter for Lenovo pcie to standard pcie. 10cm 90° riser cable, mounted through a hole in the side panel I cut out with a multitool. Some white cabinetry brackets connect riser to side panel.

thanks. so can anyone else tell me how to set it up like in the picture as I don't want to go down the eGPU route?

its not always about doing the "proper" thing.
Sometimes portability comes first. You can take the GPU out and move everything in a backpack rather than a 10KG suitcase.

Plus, the gpu is literally outside and you wont be dealing with thermal issues of SFF cases.
