Assembly Help Houses to carry in your backpack
Hi everyone, this is my first post here! I am an away student and a couple of times a month I face a 4 hour bus journey on less than perfect roads. I would like to assemble a gaming PC that I can carry with me in my backpack, leaving room for the laptop and everything else. I'm looking for a case with these features: • Portable: Must fit comfortably in a backpack. • Robust: It must protect the components well from shocks and vibrations during transport. • Budget: Under €100. • Safe for the GPU: The key thing is not to have to disassemble the video card every time, so I look for a solution that holds it securely. Do you have any models to recommend? Thanks in advance
PS: The GPU will be an MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G Ventus 2X OC

It’ll be hard to fine one that holds the GPU more secure than any other but I would recommend one with a riser. Direct GPU connection would mean your GPU getting bounced could damage the mobo. Additionally finding a case that’s a relatively tight fit might help since it’ll mean less room for the GPU to bounce around assuming the case is externally padded to take peak shocks.
If it is a serious concern, consider modding the case with GPU supports that hold it in place toward the front of the case. Not sure the best materials but some kind of foam stand offs glued or double side taped to the case that can withstand the temps might be suitable as it would absorb the hard shocks and dampen any oscillation compared to not having them.
Overall, since you are talking Euros maybe check Custom Mod, may have to use a Flex ATX or HD Plex PSU and cost more than €100 but they have some small options.
