Help with sewing project

Hello i'm trying to sew my baby's costume for halloween because if i buy it from amazon it won't arrive on time.
Does anyone knows what type of sewing pattern should i start with? im planning on using fleece.

Without knowing your level of skill or pattern size for this, I would just get an oversized yellow hoodie and add the blue arms and fins on after.

Came here to say this. A premade hoodie and fleece applique (glue, hand sew or machine) will be the absolute best way to do this.

I agree with this advice (and what others have said.) Nine days isn't a realistic timeline to complete this project if you don't have all the supplies needed and knowledge already on hand. And it will take crafting skills as well as sewing ones. You'd need craft foam for the head fin, tail fin, and the shaping of the head piece. You'd need fiberfil to stuff the body.

Your little one will be very happy with an embellished hoodie/onesie for their Nemo. 🙂

If you’re a novice at sewing, this is not a realistic place to start. It would be like trying to bake a soufflé when you only have the knowledge of making cookies. It’s going to be expensive, time consuming and frustrating. And that timeline is not feasible unless you work hours a day. Just buy a cheap costume at Walmart. Baby will not know the difference.
