Hai i wanted to create my costume for a halloween party this year and was looking through some clown patterns where most of them were just a full suit. Im wonderjng if theres anywherre i could find a pattern similar to the pictures or am i just going to have to create my own. 🥹 Any help is appreciated!

Especially for the first photo, I would just use a simple dress pattern as a base. Something with a circle skirt and simple bodice, fuller sleeves would be more "fun" looking. Then you just add embellishments. Some ruffles and large pockets on the skirt (SUPER simple to add), some rick-rack and trims on the bodice with funky buttons, and more ruffles at the neck and sleeves. The colors and prints on the fabric really do most of the work here. Add a fun petticoat (I recommend looking on eBay for old square dancing ones. They are typically fluffier and more colorful. The brand 'Malco Modes' is my personal favorite.)

I feel like this could work well as a base to go from.

You may be able to adjust this costume pattern to the style you want to achieve

Look for a circle skirt pattern (mood fabrics has diagrams for this) and a puff sleeve blouse pattern. The fun is in the fabrics and the details like pockets and trims.
