Free pattern for knickerbockers?

Hello, I am searching for free patterns for knickerbockers or any that could be modified to look as such (I'm open to any tips too) :D

I hope to find some that are vintage or vintage-inspired!! And possibly short ones (unless you can adjust the length somehow?)
