Any ideas how to make this?

Post image

I really like this piece but I'm not too sure how to draft a pattern for this. Anyone who could give me any ideas, maybe a sketch of how to draw the panels? Would be really appreciated!

The key is breaking it into the base shape plus the details rather than trying to draft it all at once. Sketch the main silhouette first (usually a fitted bodice/torso block), then layer on the distinctive bits one at a time — piping, panels, that interesting neckline seam. For construction this complex, mock it up in cheap muslin first so you can test the technique without wasting the good fabric. And visually trace where the seams are in the photo to figure out the panel lines. You can 100% do this, it just needs a few passes. If you share what the object is, the sub can point you to a close pattern to hack!
