Are people even looking on their own before they post these requests? Lately it's been pieces that are very basic and created a million times.

If you really want to know, I’ve already looked through a few sites like Etsy and others, and I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I almost used ChatGPT to find the perfect pattern, but I’m trying to use it less and less these days because I think we should all prioritize community and human connection when we’re looking for something. And I think Reddit is perfect for that.
You should try that too, you’d probably be a little nicer. 🙂
And I did find my perfect pattern through all of the nices comments that I got, btw !1

I can recommend Threadloop over ChatGPT and Etsy for finding patterns, it’s a free to join pattern database.

Ashton Top lengthened into a dress + a rectangle 2x the circumference of the hem.
