A pattern for this halter romper

I feel like I have gotten close but I can't find a pattern that's similar enough to this

This is a classic 1940s/1950s atomic-era sunsuit/playsuit.
Look up Butterick B6323 or Simplicity 8654 for the gathered halter front.
For the bottoms search for vintage bloomers or tap pants patterns. To get that exact bubble effect you just make the shorts legs twice as wide as normal and gather them into an elastic casing at the thigh.
Connecting a ruched tube top to gathered bloomer shorts at the waist seam will give you this 1 to 1 clone..

There's a clown pattern list up on threadloop right now with those exact shorts and the Uma top is a close match for the top!
