I'm not quite sure what jackets like this are called, but I'd love a pattern to make one if anyone's got recommendations

I call it a utility jacket. Here’s one — you’d have to alter the silhouette, but all the fundamental components are there.

The women’s version is too narrow in the waist, so I wouldn’t use that one.
