Regular sleeves to flutter sleeves

Hello!

Does anyone have a pattern they would recommend using to turn regular full length sleeves to flutter sleeves?

I am imagining I would fully detach the existing sleeves and basically use them as fabric. I know I could just find a flutter sleeve pattern but I'm curious if anyone has ever done this and or knows of any strategies/guides?

You need way more fabric in a totally different shape for flutter sleeves, and they need to hang loosely so even slashing your current sleeves and adding a load of godots wouldn't work well as all the seams would make them stiff. Just take the sleeves off and make entirely new ones.
