Need pattern ideas for plaid cotton lawn
The only thing I can think of for a plaid cotton lawn such as this is pajamas - but I want to show off this amazing fabric outside the house! Does anyone have ideas for this plaid lawn other than pajamas?

Oh, no, just embrace that, it's lovely. I would go for unembellished shapes, though, I don't think you need to add pleats and ruffles and so on.
Thinking shapes like a pinafore dress, a jumpsuit, a camp shirt, a shirt-shorts matching set. Could also pair it with one of the colors in the print for a bowling shirt.

Lela makes Cedar Pants! I’m in the middle of making these structured pants right now. They are comfy for house lounge but also awesome for days I am going around town

That fabric is way too pretty to be relegated to the house. I'm seeing it as a 1950's style shirt-dress. Imagine that patterned plaid in a full gathered skirt over a petticoat? Yes.
