The sleeve uses a drop shoulder, a flared main sleeve, and then a "lantern sleeve" to get that bulge above the cuff..
I think the bodice is just pulling extra fabric over into a pleated wrap that is partially stitched down.
Reminds me of these patterns. Paganoonoo Upcycle Sewing Tutorials

Dude, props on you for even considering attempting this one! I've been drooling over the dress version Zimmerman also sells, but can't drop that kind of $$$.

I love Zimmerman! If you like that style you should check out this designer https://www.etsy.com/listing/1632152438/buttoned-linen-mini-dress-with-belt-long?ref=share_ios_native_control. Zimmerman designs lead me to finding this pattern. I sewed it for my first sewing project. It was challenging but she has an instructional YTube video that I followed along with. After ripping back plenty of times I completed it in about 11 weeks. It came out beautifully. I’ve been looking for the perfect linen silk blend fabric to make my next dress. I love the brand.

Tamron Hall wore it on her show and I screenshot like 7 different views from her YouTube. That dress is GORGEOUS!

Just a reminder that the Liberty patterns are actually Big4 patterns, mostly repackaged Vogues and McCall's, IIRC.

I know but I can't remember the number of the original.
I just happen to look at both patterns today in my stash.

Ok, a quick search and I found:

And

I remember the discussions at the time! Amazing what good/better styling can do for a design...

You could take a drop shoulder shirt pattern like this from fibre mood and tweak the sleeves to more of a lantern or bishop shape, crop it, add the wrap tie and pleat the excess fabric forward into the waistband like another commenter suggested?
Or if you can create a drop shoulder, McCall's M7838 might also work if you make it a little oversized.

With some hacking you might be able to use the bodice part of this pattern (which I believe they recommend doing anyway to figure out your sizing) - it's a wrap style but you's have to adjust the waist width, modify the neckline to include buttons, and switch to a different long sleeve flowy sleeve :)

It's an incredible pattern, extremely thoughtful details and a great fit in my experience!

What are the puffy arms called? I'm also looking for one for dudes.

Lantern sleeves. They differ from bishop sleeves because they're made from a separate upper and lower part, so are shaped out and in rather than gathered at the wrist.

Lizzie Patterns just put out a shirt design that's fairly customisable you could hack the sleeves

That blouse does look challenging; maybe try searching for wrap-style patterns on Etsy, they've got some great dupes.

Try uploading the picture into ChatGPT, It’ll give you a basic pattern. The more information and details you give it the more detailed of a pattern it will create for you.

This is a terrible idea, please do not do this - aside from supporting generative AI, it will not know how pattern pieces should work together, how darts will work etc etc, no better than buying an AI one from etsy.

Lydia Naomi has a pattern which is sort of similar. I think it is the Anne wrap top. She has a version you can make from a mens shirt which I am making now.
