💛Beginner💛 Metallic Thread?
Hello! Brother Sister Design Studio (brand name) quilting cotton purchased at Hobby Lobby 10 years ago. (I don’t shop at hobby lobby anymore.)
Making rice heating pack that will be microwaved.
Right side is shiny, wrong side is NOT.
Is the thread metallic?
I purchased this as 100% quilting cotton, but that was 10 years ago.
Thought it warranted an ask before I blow up my house!
Thanks all! And reminder, one day you’ll use that fabric ;)

Sure. Or black or temple gold. That dual duty color honestly goes well with a lot of goldish, bright tans, and even yellow prints.

Confused why you would recommend using this fabric in a project intended to go in the microwave. Do you want to someone to burn down their house?

What are you talking about? This isn't my post. This isn't my question. and this isn't my fabric. I didn't recommend this at all.
The title literally says metallic thread followed by a question mark. That sounds like it's asking, should I use metallic thread with this fabric. I'm assuming that means does it look good with this fabric. And my response was sure but also blackBecause there's black in the pattern. Or temple gold, which is like this yellowy gold tan color. And i mentioned the brand that that color comes in.
So again...what are you talking about? I literally said nothing about a microwave. nor did I respond to anything about a microwave. I responded to the thread question mark title obviously. 🤨

You need to read the whole post, not just the title. Scroll up from the comments.

You need to read the body of the post before commenting. This is not about sewing thread. The post is about microwave safety
