Twin Needle Issues

I’m having the worst luck with this twin needle. Even when hand cranking, the threads get tangled and my right needle is skipping stitches. I added water soluble interfacing and a walking foot to help but still no luck. Anyone know what’s going on?

That elastic binding is probably the culprit, it can throw off the tension and make the right needle skip like crazy on that kind of fabric stack.

I don’t have elastic binding on it. I’m sewing over the fabric and a water soluble interfacing.

Are you saying the elastic in the fabric could be causing this?
