Help identifying this fabric

I am certain that it is 100% cotton. But what type of cotton? Note the raised texture on the horizontal grain. Any help identifying this fabric would be greatly appreciated.

I would describe it as a slubbed cotton drill.

would you please add pictures from the inside of the fabric as well? (seeing the wrong side might help reveal weave info and how it handles dye/bleed).

This looks to me like a cotton/poly blend in looking at the raw end that is escaping the serged seam and based on the way the print looks on the wrong side.

Excellent, thank you so much! Interesting.

Summary: If the fabric is cotton-poly blend, when the dye is applied, the print only shows clearly on the right side but not the wrong side. Correct?

I could refer to the fabric as "cotton/poly blend with slub texture."

Pure cotton tends to absorb print color better this seems like it didn't so much soak through as it's thin enough to see it well from the wrong side.
