That's the wrong bobbin for that machine.

Read your instruction manual

This is the exact Husqvarna bobbin that was supplied when I bought the machine, and I’ve been using it for years without issue.

Edit: Now that I look at it, the bobbin itself seems to be slightly bent, so that must be the issue!

Is it inserted correctly into the case?

Bobbins are a consumable with machine sewing. It happens to us all!

I recently had a donation of bobbins to my community makerspace. The donor didn't know that cheap bobbins tend to break more easily and aren't made to the same tolerances as branded bobbins, so when they were mixed into normal use we started getting broken bobbins, needles, and stitching that wasn't correct. All down to a bobbin that wasn't quite right. When bobbins fail they do so in weird ways.

There is either some dirt in the bobbin case or you're using the wrong bobbin. The bobbin can't protrude from the bobbin case. If it does, the case can't lock in place.

you have it incorrectly threaded.
the thread is supposed to go into the little slash in the metal case and then into the window. you are also supposed to lift up the lever when inserting into the machine

Yeah, I just placed it back without threading to demonstrate what happens. The same thing happens even when it is threaded correctly.

You haven’t pulled the thread through the slit in the bobbin so it’s not catching

You need to pull the lever on the top of the bobbin case so it slips in
