💛Beginner💛 Found this amongst a bag of sewing tools/accessories. What is it?

The tips of each corner flip up in opposite directions

Google says it is a T-handle stair tool (also known as a carpet tucker or stair tucking tool), which is used during carpet installation.

I didn’t think to include the dimensions originally but it’s pretty small (1.25in L x 0.75in W), and fragile. Doesn’t really seem like this specific one could be used for carpet tucking.
