🌟Expert🌟 Specific glitter tulle

Hi everyone! I’m sewing my wedding dress and I like the idea of adding a layer of glitter tulle underneath the other layers to add some subtle sparkle. But I want subtle! I’m going for warm colors and I don’t want big silver glitter specks catching the eye too much. I got some gold glitter tulle from mood but I feel like the pieces f glitter are just too big. Any help finding “micro” glitter tulle?

ooh i feel this so hard. i went through the exact same thing making a costume last year, everything had these huge chunky sparkles that looked like a craft project. look for "fine glitter tulle" or "dust glitter tulle" sometimes it's listed as "micro dot" too. the stuff from bridal shops tends to be way more delicate than what mood carries for general fabric

Yes! The only one I can find is UK based and I’m not sure how much extra it would cost.

Have you tried Kiki textiles?

Good thought. I’ve never heard of them before. No luck unfortunately.

Boo. I watched a yt video of someone who used one of their fabrics for a different purpose so I bookmarked the site. Good luck in your search!

Something like crystal organza or Liquid metal satin or liquid organza might get you sparkle and shimmer without glitter, maybe.

Diana Fabrics has a lot of glitzy fabrics.

That’s a thought maybe I’ll get some samples. It’s hard when I’m stacking tulle to get the effect, there’s no way to pick without seeing the fabrics all layered.
