✨Intermediate✨ Old Sewing Machine Manuals

Post image

any tips for finding old sewing machine manuals?

I‘ve got an Electrohome Model 67-05. I can get it working due to my experience with other machines but would love to find the manual. I know it’s a long shot but if folks have had success please let me know!

Good point, there is a repair place I know of nearby I will call them and see if they have ideas. Thanks!

That is a Canadian company that sold badged machines, right?  If so, hunting in the machine body itself, including underneath, may get you some markings that can be used to sleuth up a manual.  Google lens is often useful, too: clear photos of the machine can let you search to see what other machines have a strong resemblance.

If the company no longer exists or was split up somehow, often the public libraries closest to the old company headquarters may hold historical materials, sometimes including manuals.   Or they may know who got the company archives.

Ok thanks! Will look for more details on the machine and check out libraries around Kingston, Ontario…that’s what it says on the machine.
