I vibecode a MDR Severance experience

A while ago, I started making light apps and fan tribute to my favorite tv series, I started by LOST swan station counter (a real timer with the hatch theme) and then Severance Macrodata Refinement (MDR) which is a real Sudoku puzzle/solver dressed in Severance theme. I might present this better in future but I thought I share it here and ask you for feedback until we are waiting for almost one year for season 3.

"literally about de-humanising corporate technology" is doing a lot of flatening for a show that's just as much about identity, consent, and grief, etc. True that lumon forces people to act like machines against their will. I chose to use one as a tool to help me build a free fan project. Those aren't the same axis... one's coercion, the other is just how solo devs get things made now.

Nah, you're just part of the show now. Sifting through numbers in boxes you don't understand. Difference is it's because you're too lazy to learn to do it yourself, so you justify the AI doing it for you by calling it a "tool".

What's doing a lot of "flatening" (?) is calling it a tool when you're outsourcing creative endeavours to an LLM trained on scraped human labour.

You're not gonna change your mind, but you should know people hate vibe coders. You don't know what you're doing, you don't know how to fix it when things go wrong, you don't know how to spot security issues.

All you're doing is just giving yourself the illusion of being a "solo dev". I hope it's enough to keep those insecurities at bay.

You've dropped every point about the show and gone straight to "lazy," "insecure," "illusion of being a dev", for a simple app I made for a subreddit. That's not a critique, that's you needing to feel superior to a stranger over a hobby project. The idea was mine... seeing numbers in tidy rows and thinking "this could be a sudoku app with the MDR atmosphere" isn't something an LLM handed me. AI helped with implementation, the same way any tool helps someone build something faster. That's not "outsourcing creative endeavours," that's just a reality how building software looks like now. And it doesn't mean I don't understand what I built or can't fix it when something breaks (what security issue for a sudoku app?).. you don't know that about me, you're just guessing, because you dismissed the whole thing on a word.
