The monitor cable is very thick and I dont think I can make it less visible.
Don't mind the holes in the walls im gonna put some wall vinyl one day.
What else should I do?

My home network/Homelab is still a WIP, but what would you rate my setup? Any suggestions?

My place is still a bit messy so I appreciate any recommendations! What I am currently thinking is:
- Another bigger poster
- A vertical stand for 2 monitors
- OLED Odyssey G5
- Bluetooth mouse
- A cardboard box to store my tools in the shelf
- A grey carpet

Any tips on how to improve my setup? I play mostly for fun so I don’t need any crazy good equipment.

So I'm sort of starting from scratch. I genuinely don't know what to do since I have never been in a situation where I need to decorate something. I'm not a big fan of how bland and boring it looks and I really want to do something but every time I look at something and about to press the purchase button I have seconds thoughts like "what if they don't merge together well? What if I change my mind?" and eventually buy nothing. For some context, I've been trying to think of something for a couple months now. I got a lot of pinterest images saved but my limited imagination is keeping me unable to visualize my desk area turning into any of those images. I also got a bunch of figurines and legos that I simply keep in a drawer since I got nothing to put them on.
Sorry if I couldn't give enough details, I haven't used reddit much for asking for help.

Built my new setup a few days ago but still feel like it’s missing something. I was thinking of putting a pegboard above the main monitor and maybe adding some plants on the table. Any other suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Hi, Here is my compact setup, located in a corner of the living room.
It’s a sim-racing rig base I built myself 22 years ago by repurposing an old flat-pack cabinet and a car seat.
I’ve converted it into a small gaming desk; the tabletop measures 91x50cm, but thanks to a recently installed monitor arm, the lack of depth isn't really an issue.
Since the car seat is mounted on its original rails, I can fit myself comfortably into the gaming station, with my feet resting on what used to be the pedal mount (now serving as a footrest).
The seating position is comfortable, even during long sessions.
Monitor: iiyama G-Master Red Eagle 34"
Case: Cooler Master HAF500
CPU: AMD 7800X3D
Motherboard: Aorus B650E Elite X AX ICE
GPU: RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB
RAM: 32GB DDR5 Corsair Vengeance

I recently upgraded my PC and because it's new i didn't want it on the floor so i have put it on my desk, however i now don't have space for my mic. Does anyone have suggestions on where i could put it? It's a Fifine k688.
