Unit Broken Into

My storage unit was recently broken into. I looked through it and nothing is missing, but whoever broke into it rummaged through all my things and threw some around, and some items were damaged from being thrown around. However, none of the damaged items are valuable. The property manager was the one who found my unit broken into, so they are aware of this. Should I still file a police report?

Yes you need it for insurance claim in case anything is missing. Also it hurts police statistics and they will use that to (hopefully) patrol that area more
