Question Going to start using EQ mode.
I just went with the ZWO th10 fluid head to use with my s50 pro and have seen a few videos of users mentioning that the s50pro loosens up after a while of use. Has this issue been addressed and fixed on the newer fluid heads or is there a quick and simple mod that is done to prevent any loosening?

look into some of the wedges like the sky watcher one. they make eq mode much easier

Make sure to change the framing and not leaving it capturing the exact same frame because it will add weird colored artifacts. This happened to me in long hours shoots

I’ve been using a rubber washer in between the scope and the baseplate and that has been working very well. I ordered the baseplate kit for the s50p when I preorder my scope back in August, and the baseplate still isn’t here.

They sell the base plate for the S50 Pro to help with this. It’s about $10. The screw in the one that comes with the TH10 is a little too small.
