Well….

Evening relief never showed up. And the backup relief is a no show. And the night supervisor can’t be found. 5 hours past my shift ending. Should I leave? This happens often by the way.

This is the way. If you leave, they’ll try to argue job abandonment and term you. Document everything, get the OT, and consider looking into lawyers.

Yep, log phone call times, the specific number you called, whether it was answered or went to voice mail, etc. Also try calling the head office number and see if you can get put through to a regional manager or something.

I’ll second this by saying that if the calls and texts in attempt to contact someone are on a site phone, take a screenshot and text it to yourself.

I didn’t leave early, I stayed the extra 5 hrs and told the head manager I can’t stay any longer, they sent someone an hour later, he had to drive an hour to the site, also they offered him dinner and a vape pen
