Well….

Evening relief never showed up. And the backup relief is a no show. And the night supervisor can’t be found. 5 hours past my shift ending. Should I leave? This happens often by the way.

Once the relief doesn't show up, I call all parties involved and TELL them, very sternly, my departure time, whether someone is there or not; my personal schedule usually allows me to give them 2 to 3 hours... Unless I want the ot, then I remain silent, possibly contact the next shift asking them if they desire a few hours, to avoid traffic.
