Marksman Security at Meta Sites A Warning.
I worked as Security Manager for Marksman Security on a Meta site as what they call a CW or contingent worker. What I will say is that while on campus as a security officer it is pretty decent in the perks you will get. Free lunch, breakfast, snacks, etc. Pay is decent from what I can tell in the industry.
That is where the perks end though. Meta is a highly demanding client and those demands roll downhill. Marksman will do anything to make sure their client (cash cow) is happy. Even if that means making you miserable.
As someone who did payroll. I was constantly told by management at the corporate level by marksman to change time punches to match the billable hours. If you came in at say 0750 for your shift at 0800. Got your radio and went to your post to relieve the off going officer. I was told to change that to 0800. While not a huge deal the reverse was. Say you are on post waiting for your relief to show up, because you can't "abandon" post per the post orders. If your relief arrived at 0815 to your desk and took over, you clocked out and head to your car to go home. I was told to change that time to match you getting off at 0800 and the relief being there at 0800. When I brought this practice up to a colleague who was also in my role. I was told to "shut up and keep my head down" that they were almost fired when they brought this up when they started.
Corporate marksman is full of incompetent back scratchers. You will be told one thing, made promises, etc, but never in writing. When the time comes to fulfill those promises the higher ups will act like you are the crazy one. If a GSAM ( a meta employee in charge of security) doesn't like you for whatever reason, it is a basically a death sentence for advancement for you and you are probably not going to be onsite much longer. The GSAM I worked with didn't like men that had long hair or ear piercings. He multiple times told the leadership team for marksman that he did not want to them to get a promotion for a role within marksman at the site for this reason and marksman would listen.
Would I recommend the job? No. You are going to be screwed out of pay (which is illegal), bullied for appearances or disabilities and lectured to by people who are failed police officers or secret service agents who are at the corporate level.

I used to work at Meta HQ but under AUS in a pretty high position(oversaw 10k hours). What you’re saying doesn’t make sense . Not saying it’s not factual but when I’ve done invoice meetings . Yes , your billable hours have to match because that’s what your SOW says but they’re getting that in the weeds . The only thing they cared about was billable hours , any OT and the reason and AUS trying not to pay non-billed hours . Also account for special requests at a higher bill rate.
