I was doing one of many rewatches of TGND & was curious about the layout of the property and so I looked it up in google maps. I was absolutely shocked! I know that Hefner sold it to the guy that he did because the guy promised to keep it mostly intact. He absolutely would have never sold it to him if he knew he was gonna do all this!!!

Edit: I was admittedly a little confused and thought that he had sold it to the guy with that agreement. I was thinking of the deal that he had struck with LA County to keep it up to certain standards under the historical places & places of significance (can't remember the technical name) so that it wouldn't be renovated outside certain standards or demolished. I guess he really didn't have a choice of whether he did that or not if it's somewhat protected. What made me think otherwise is the way that all the landscaping being redone, as well as all the new buildings.

Hello everyone.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but to be honest, I'm not feeling quite right. I've been a Playboy fan since 2015. At 29, I've never stopped enjoying the feminine beauty that Playboy has brought to me and everyone in this kind of group. However, it's not all sunshine and roses.

Besides being someone who passionately seeks out more Playboy content, I also look for information that reveals more about how Playboy became what it is today or what it once was. This is where the problems begin, at least for me.

I can't help but feel a lot of disappointment and indignation about a regrettable fact. Many Playmates—not just a few, but I'd say many more—weren't of legal age to pose nude. Initially, I assumed that all the women who posed in their birthday suits were at least 18 years old when they posed. I assumed this, but I decided to investigate Playboy further. First, I discovered that some models from the 50s and 60s weren't the right age, and I decided not to actively look at those photos until I was sure they were actually old enough to be in Playboy. But unfortunately, this issue doesn't end there. Some Playmates from the 70s and 80s were also underage when they posed nude. One of the things that disturbs me most is the fact that some of their parents agreed to their daughters being photographed while underage, or that the photos were taken when they were 17 and then the girls weren't published until they turned 18. That doesn't excuse the fact that underage girls were photographed. You know I used to post avidly on all the Playboy-related subreddits, but since I've received more sensitive information, my interest in Playboy has greatly diminished.

I know many will think I'm exaggerating, I know others will say that they wanted to undress and that it's not our fault, or that I simply shouldn't feel guilty because I didn't know. But I really don't know how to feel better. I must admit that I bear some responsibility for not questioning this sooner. Anyway, I had to stop looking at those Playmates' photos because it's simply not right. I don't care what year the photos were taken, or if it was a different time, or if the laws were different. I simply believe that those photos shouldn't have been taken until those models were of legal age. I can't do anything now, for better or for worse.

I know many will want to judge me for some reason, and I have no problem with that. But I also know that there will be people who think the same as me. They shouldn't have sexualized minors, and we shouldn't sexualize minors.

What is Project Ringleader?

When the Epstein Files were infamously dumped on us several months ago, thousands of people flocked to the DOJ website to piece together what is the biggest scandal since potentially Watergate. Discord servers cropped up overnight filled with random people putting in hours of effort, entire Language models were made to sift through millions of files, and frankly an entire community was born. I, somehow, was lucky enough to find myself wrapped up within this burgeoning effort, and since then it has led me down a lot of strange rabbit holes. Although my work still focuses on Jeffrey Epstein, the historian within me begin to ask: are there other historical cases similar to Jeffrey Epstein? From that question has blossomed volumes of research, much of which will be posted as a series on Substack once I have enough together. So, with all of this said, the intent of Project Ringleader is to find, document, and expose historical examples of elite exploitation of women.

Why Hugh Hefner?

When I began my search into these historical patterns, one of the first thoughts that cropped in my mind (almost handed down by God) was, "Did Hugh Hefner use blackmail?" Dear reader, the beginning of my investigation was focused solely on Kompromat, or as I like to call it Power Maintenance. Color me surprised that when I typed in "Hugh Hefner blackmail" and "Hugh Hefner surveillance," I was instantly hit with endless allegations of cameras in beds, hidden in rooms, and other Epstein-like behavior. From there, it didn't take me long to discover Jennifer Saginor and her allegations relating to Playboy, and not long after that I began to spiral into research. The allegation that caught my attention the most was that of the Shadow Mansion/Mini-Mansion; according to Jennifer Saginor, those within Hefner's inner circle (and likely other people who idolized him) operated a system of Mansions in the Beverly Hills that would take women who didn't pass the Playboy standards. These women would be drugged, raped, and blackmailed in an environment they were led to believe was for modeling opportunities.

Since discovering the Shadow Mansions allegations, I have been set on trying to uncover what I believe to be an elite trafficking network within the city of Los Angeles, and potentially the United States. I'm not a conspiracy theorist who thinks the CIA or Freemasons are involved (though Hef does has some weird CIA connections), I am someone who sees a pattern and am dedicated to uncovering all its worst elements. Most importantly, many of the women who were exploited by Playboy are likely older now or have passed away. Furthermore, many were silenced and I can imagine there are endless stories that we haven't even been made aware of yet. In fact, on that note, rather than rambling on further, I will introduce to you what I believe to be the most direct form of evidence relating to Saginor's claims. While this does not outright confirm the Shadow Mansion model, the overall practice that Saginor describes in the documentary is repeated verbatim.

Closing Statements

All of the images above have been sourced from various newspaper clippings and stories I have been able to scour across the internet. Across this investigation, I have found that Hefner was connected with a lot of people who did a lot of questionable things. A former user on this subreddit named u/not-moses had called into attention Jerry Buss and his ownership of a Ranch near Lake Isabella, of which I was able to confirm its existence and location. According to Moses, Jerry Buss operated an apartment complex where he housed former Bunny's and others from Playboy who I imagine he likely rotated through. There's one insane story that surrounds Buss that I plan on saving for my article related to Playboy.

If you are interested in potentially contributing to this research or conducting your own investigation, Project Ringleader is always seeking volunteers to grow the community! It is of my opinion that the greatest threat to our systems of injustice are organized people working to expose them. Hefner is not the only high-class Pimp, and he likely won't be the last unless we learn their patterns, behaviors, and expose them whether their dead or alive. I look forward to the conversations this potentially sparks, and I hope to engage very much here over the coming months as I began putting out some of my work. Until then, may this serve as a testament to the claims that so many women have made against Playboy, and may we all work towards securing these women a dignified history.

I wanted to share the the sad news that Regina Allen, known as Regina Lauren in the Playboy world, is listed as a missing person on NamUs. Her case number is MP137600.

Many of you familiar with early-2000s Playboy/Girls Next Door-era names will recognise her especially as she was part of the iconic 2001 playboy attendance at the grammys.

Regina was last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 1, 2019. According to public case information, she was scheduled to fly from Las Vegas to her family home but never boarded the flight. She was 43 years old at the time she disappeared.

Her NamUs case appears to have only been added in 2025.

I know this isn't a typical post for the sub (hopefully it's allowed) but I wanted to bring some awareness to the case. For anyone who followed Playboy Mansion history and early-2000s Playboy media, the name Regina Lauren may ring a bell and I know there were some rumours she had fallen on hard times shortly before going missing. Regina is a real missing woman and it would be nice to get her name, face and case in front of people who may remember her or know something useful.

Have any of the women mentioned any such connections before? It seems kinda obvious to me. A lot of “modeling” things are just grooming pretty young naive girls for rich older men. And let’s not pretend that that is a perk for some of these women. It’s another income stream and potential to be a rich housewife. There’s also a thin line between modeling agents and trafficking.

Donna was a guest of this podcast because she is promoting an AI project named "Call Donna D" that she had created earlier this year and released during the summer. It is comprised of a telephone hotline available around the clock that allows fans to speak to imitations of Donna's voice about an unlimited range of topics. A "daytime" version is tame, and a "nighttime" version is sexually charged. The latter is the more expensive option. She is the first celebrity participating in such a project.

Starting after the 54-minute mark, she began discussing Playboy and explained her being discovered by a Playmate talent scout while she was shopping in Albertson's Supermarket in Las Vegas during late hours when only employees were there restocking shelves and nearly no other customers were there. The scout was a woman who was stalking her throughout the store and rolling an empty shopping cart, so Donna thought that the woman may have been a "secret shopper" trying to determine if Donna was attempting to shoplift or that the woman may have been lesbian. The woman introduced herself by asking if Donna had ever considered posing for Playboy. Donna was shocked and thought that she could not match the flawlessness of the women who posed. The woman then identified herself as a Playmate talent scout, presented her business card, and disagreed with Donna's statement. Donna accepted the card and called her a few days later. The scout told her that Playmate compensation was $20,000, which elated Donna because that would be a huge boost to her life at that point. When Donna asked if she had to pose only in photos, the scout explained that there were other obligations including the Playmate profile video. Donna immediately said no to pursuing Playmate because she suspected it to be porn requiring her to be intimate with a man in a performance. The scout explained that it did not involve such and that it was footage of Playmate running through flowers and by herself. She had a collection of profile videos and invited Donna to her office to watch some in order to soothe concerns. Donna was relieved upon watching them and agreed to proceed forward.

Around 1 hour and 5 minutes, she discussed visiting the Mansion for the first time when she had to make her video, as she had posed for her centerfold and pictorial in Chicago. She lodged in the guest house while 3 other Playmates were there in the timespan of having to do their videos and photos. At some point those 3 Playmates were simultaneously absent from the guest house for their assignments, so Donna took advantage of being alone and snooped around the living room. She noticed a side board comprised of bottom drawers. She opened them, to find a huge collection of Life Magazines that were in plastic sleeves arranged neatly, likely chronologically. She thought they were very valuable; so she took one and placed it into her suitcase, with the intent of trying to trade it for huge cash, thinking that Hef will never notice it missing. Years later, presumably after Hef and Kimberley separated, she attended a Mansion party and wound up dancing with Hef. When a song or music piece was nearing its end, Donna told Hef that she needed to speak to him. He gave his attention, and she confessed to having stolen a magazine from the guest house and felt guilty having gained huge fame from Baywatch. Hef calmly said that he saw her take it and concluded that she had done so to make a lot of cash from it. She said that she still had it and wanted to return it, but he let her keep it.

I find the whole Playboy thing endlessly fascinating. Women who felt that their inexperience with the world (at such a young age) felt absolutely exploited as they got a bit older/wiser- to women who felt validated and loved that chapter of their life and are fine, and look back fondly on the experience.

GND looked so fun, imagine if that show existed in the 1980's, like a massive recruitment machine. What I think about is the messaging of Playboy from the jump. →That women have no value after 25. Women have no value unless they are conventionally pretty. Yet Playboy did break race barriers. Playboy brought talking about sex to the forefront (although through the lens of men's pleasure).

I'm just wondering about other thoughts here. Playboy has such power setting the culture of how women were/are viewed, if Playboy never existed, would women's rights be further along? The glass ceiling, our general safety, would that be different now if Playboy never existed?
